Crazed Covers

Friday entertainment!
24 Odd and Funny Book Titles and Covers

Ooh, don't you want What's Your Poo Telling You? or Fancy Coffins To Make Yourself or Scouts in Bondage? Hey, I own one of the books shown here: Knitting with Dog Hair, subtitled Better a sweater from a dog you know and love than from a sheep you'll never meet. Actually a good book if you are into knitting and have long-haired dogs.

Retitled/"reimagined" typical romance books covers. Yep, give the book a title that matches that cover image!

What a hoot! Thanks for sharing the urls. Some of those covers are really laugh-out-loud disasters, especially with the creative comments.

Luckily, Ellora's Cave does terrific covers. I love every one of my DANCE covers. Thanks, Syneca, Will, Darrell and gang.

I have a copy of the Humanure Handbook on the "Homesteading/Zombie Apocalypse" shelf. It's next to "Pride & Prejudice and Zombies."

I do love the retitled ones. "Lord of the Hissy-Fit" and "The Sheriff of Gay County" are my faves.

I've had good covers. I've had bad covers. I've had boring covers. I've had covers where I went "huh? why is he licking the other's rib cage" before I realized the "head" was a bicep. I've had technicolor and veggiesexuals and weird shifters and a few covers that were simply awesome.

I even got the dreaded "a novel" subtitle once. Because without that, everyone's clearly going to think it's a how-to manual for making your own possessed carnival.

hahahahaha. Thanks for the great laughs.
I feel almost guilty. Those are SOMEONE'S books that they sweated and worked hard to write and get published! Okay, so maybe they didn't and maybe "sweated" was a bad word choice.

I like the "Okay, you're taller than me. Happy now?" one. lol

Should this blog create amazing inspiration for me? I thought up a title for my next erotic work of art: Make my Pussy Purr.

I thought to have a large cat lounging across the cover. What do you all think?
