What about the Morgan Library in Manhattan? I love the special exhibits they have--like Jane Austen's letters and Bob Dylan memorabilia.

I love unusual and beautiful libraries. I was long ago in one on a college campus that had been converted from a church. Stained glass windows, enormously high ceilings, balcony, old pews used as benches.
